Mitutoyo designs, develops, and manufactures all the microscope parts, including the body parts such as the lens and lens barrel, and the high-precision digital scale built into the instrument. A newly designed sliding plate (optional) enables one of the two objective lenses to be quickly moved into position to adjust the magnification, and also allows the installation of a ring light. This series of microscopes has been further improved for ease of use, with the ability to freely select the mounting position of the digital display.
- Provides clear, non-inverted, glare-free images. Wide field of view.
- The objective lens has a long working distance, providing a maximum magnification of 200x (total magnification: 4000x).
- The optical system is an infinite-field type similar to that of high-power inspection microscopes (FS series).
- Bright/dark background, polarized, and differential interference contrast (DIC) imaging.
- Zero-setting switches (X and Y axes) near the stage handle.
- Inward-facing rotating disc with four lens assembly.
